Child Safety & COPPA Notice
Last updated: July 16, 2026
Parents run the account. Tomorrow's Kids is designed for children ages 6–12, but the service is only sold to and operated by a parent or legal guardian. Children do not sign up, do not enter payment details, and do not communicate with other users through our platform.
Our commitment to families
- No advertising to children. Ever.
- No selling of personal information. Ever.
- No public profiles, no chat, no comments, no user-to-user messaging.
- No behavioral tracking of children across the internet.
- Content is designed by educators and reviewed for age-appropriateness.
What we collect about a child
When a parent creates an Explorer profile, we collect only what's needed to personalize the experience:
- A first name or nickname (chosen by the parent — a nickname is fine).
- An avatar chosen from a preset list.
- Mission progress: which stories, movies, challenges, and badges the child has opened or completed.
We do not collect a child's last name, email address, phone number, home address, precise location, photograph, voice recording, or contacts. We do not ask children to fill out forms.
COPPA (U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act)
COPPA applies to operators that collect personal information online from children under 13. Because a parent creates and controls every account, and because the limited information tied to a child's Explorer profile is collected from the parent (not from the child directly), we operate the service under verifiable parental consent given at account creation.
As the parent, you have the right to:
- Review the information associated with your child's Explorer profile.
- Delete any Explorer profile at any time from your Passport — this removes the child's profile and progress.
- Refuse further collection by cancelling the subscription and deleting the account.
To exercise these rights, use your Passport, or email privacy@tomorrowskids-tkd.ai from the email on your parent account.
GDPR-K, UK Age-Appropriate Design Code, and similar laws
Where GDPR applies, processing of a child's data is based on the parent's consent and on our contract with the parent. We apply data-minimization by default: we only store what the service actually needs to deliver personalized content. We do not profile children for advertising or use "dark patterns" to extract more data.
Who information is shared with
Only the service providers we need to run the platform (payment processing, database and authentication, email delivery) — under contract, and only to operate the service. We do not share children's information with data brokers, advertising networks, or analytics providers that build profiles of individual users.
Retention
We keep an Explorer profile while it is active on your account. Deleting the Explorer removes the profile and its progress. Deleting your parent account removes all associated Explorer data within 30 days, except records we're legally required to keep (e.g. payment records).
Safety on our end
All content is created by our team — there is no user-generated content on the platform. Videos and stories are curated for the stated age range. If you spot something that doesn't feel right for the age it's labeled, please tell us and we will review it.
